John from digital_astro Yahoo group imaged Orion, which turned out to be a very good representative image of the constellation - especially for a non-modded camera. This is my version of it's post processing.

Most of this processing can be done in Photoshop, but I only have Photoshop Elements, so I use the levels and curves tools in PixInsight LE. PixInsight has the background subtraction tool, which I find very useful in some cases to remove gradients and noise from the background.
