Tired of the bleak 2007/2008 Ohio winter and watching 2 or 3 hour imaging apportunities pass by without any chance of getting set up in time, I purchased a
SkyShed POD.
I got the
XL3 version which has
three bays for storage or a
workdesk for your laptop.
The mount is set up and polar aligned. An extension cord runs from my utility shed to the POD. All I have to do is attach the scope I want to use for the night, plug in one USB plug to my laptop and off I go.
