The original setup that I used to start imaging was based on the Orange Tube C8 that I had in the 70's as a kid. Along with the Orion ED80, I could image either at 1200mm or at 600mm. I then got a William Optics 0.8 reducer so I was imaging at 480mm with the ED80. When imaging with one scope, I guided with the other.

It got silly guiding a 480mm fl scope with 1200mm guidescope, so I later got the Orion ST80 and upgraded my setup.
