Anacortes Telescope and Wild Bird Picture of the Day August 14, 2010

First light with the new QSI 583WSG camera. The camera worked flawlessly and was a real joy to use. I don't know why I have waited so long to switch over to mono imaging.

This region is the eastern/northeastern part of IC1396 including van den Bergh 142 (IC 1396A and IC 1396B).
