M52 (NGC 7654) in Cassiopeia contains 135 members and is 35 million years old. It's distance is debatable, but thought to be somewhere between 3000 and 7000 light years from earth. It spans approximately 19 light years.
Located in the southwest corner of the field, and a photographic companion in most images of M52 is the Bubble Nebula, NGC 7635.
Inconspicuous open cluster 443 is present just below and left of M52.
