M68 lies at a distance of 33,000 light years and has a spread of 106 light years.
This is one object that is actually approaching us - at a rate of 112km/sec.
Not a great image due to poor seeing and low latitude, but it's better than the original DSLR version of this object. The scope was parallel with the ground while taking this image. No way I will get a good shot of this object from the home observatory.
